After 20 years in Campbellfield Eriez Magnetics, a World authority in advanced technology for magnetic, vibratory and inspection applications has moved to a brand new, custom built facility within Northpoint Enterprise Park. The Official Opening of this world class facility was jointly conducted by the City of Whittlesea’s Mayor Cr Rex Griffin and attended by Eriez Magnetics management from around the world.
During the Opening Cr Rex Griffin spoke about the move of Eriez Magnetics to Northpoint Enterprise Park
“One major factor for anyone setting up a new business is location, and Northpoint Enterprise Park certainly has this aspect covered. With easy freeway access to the ports, Melbourne Airport and roads into Melbourne and around the rest of Australia.
Northpoint continues to generate economic development that includes the creation of in excess of 3,000 new jobs. It came as no surprise that a world authority on advanced technology for magnetic, vibratory and inspection applications, Eriez Magnetics is now here. The company has been in Australia since the 1960’s and currently employs 35 people. This new facility gives them the opportunity to expand their operation and employment.
Eriez did a comprehensive search for the best location for their new facility, not only for itself, but utmost in its homework were amenities for their employees and their families. This new facility is conveniently located for existing employees, and gives them easy access to public transport, shopping, medical services, education and general services. It will also offer the company a large pool of local labour as the company grows.”
